LOS ANGELES, CA -- Apr 14, 2007 -- /prbuzz/ -- The cultural gap between Northern and Southern California will be bridged at Vindulgence-LA, a swank soiree combining wine and fashion presented by Fashion Business Inc. (http://www.FashionBizInc.org) and Wente Vineyards (http://www.WenteVineyards.com).

The event will be held Wednesday, May 2nd from 6:30pm to 9:00pm on the third-floor loft of the New Mart Building in the heart of Downtown's Fashion District.

Vindulgence-LA will be the first tasting in Los Angeles hosted by fifth-generation winegrowers Karl and Christine Wente. The brother and sister duo will be on hand to share tastes of five of Wente Vineyards Estate Wines and four of Karl’s handcrafted small lot wines, The Nth Degree. Each of The Nth Degree wines are extremely limited, most seeing less than 300 cases produced.

Inspired appetizers will be crafted and paired with Karl’s wines by Chef Fred Eric of Tiara (http://www.Tiara-Cafe.com), while Italy's Bormioli Rocco (http://www.BormioliRoccaCasa.com) will provide crystal stemware as your gift to enhance your wine tasting experience. Chill grooves will be spun by DJ Randall.

Following the wine tasting, FBI will present a "Made in LA" runway show featuring top LA brands: American Apparel, Remy Leather, Stop Staring, Couture-The Clothing Company, Fabrizio Gianni, Sledge USA, I See Spot (doggy contemporary, Ranahan Jeans, Vanessa Carreno and Pink Polkadot.

"All the fashions to be featured are not just designed in LA, they're made here," says FBI president Frances Harder. "These companies are creating fashion jobs in LA, not outsourcing them.

"American Apparel's Dov Charney is Mr. Made in LA," Harder continues, "while Remy Leather has been producing domestically and successfully for years. Stop Staring is a fairly new company that has opted to manufacture in Los Angeles, and that has successfully grown its business with the assistance of the FBI."

Corporate sponsorship for Vindulgence-LA is available for $1,000 and includes 10 tickets and signage. Individual tickets are $75; they are extremely limited and are available online only at FashionBizInc.com.

Media Passes: To secure VIP media passes, RSVPs and credentials are required. Please RSVP to Paige Poulos Communication at 800.497.3376. Note that due to the small-lot production of The Nth Degree wines, media passes are limited and will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis.
