Do you know the duo from NY who is shocking the industry
and becoming the next Bronx Icons in the process?, Well, they're
coming back with their freshman album
, but don't call it a comeback. Jose Josexx and Bonao
with super producer Add On decided to talk to Reggaeton Hood...

Reggaeton Hood
How much did Reggaeton have an effect in your everyday life
and how hard was it coming out of NY as upcoming artists?

Lokixximo
Reggaeton has the same effect on everybody everywhere.
In the beginning everybody just like's it,
then everybody want's to be an Artist
everybody want's to do reggaeton,
but is a long process, after a long time they seem to lose hope & creativity.
The Bronx is a very big hip hop borough . So you got a
whole bunch of different influences coming from
everywhere as far as hip hop influences.
It is hard as hell, coming out of New York as reggaeton artist.
you have to work twice as hard to get attention in New York
keeping your music updated & letting people hear you and
discover you, and you know radio stations don't show unsigned
artists no love.

Reggaeton Hood
Before Lokixximo fan base blew up what
was ya'll Reggaeton life like and who inspired you?

Lokixximo
Big Pun, Back in the day Wu Tang Clan and Jay Z,
locally, before we met Pun,
that's one of our greatest inspirations,
after selling platinum in his first album he was one of
most humble artist we ever met,
in reggaeton "Vico C" and "El General" was the last albums we heard.

Reggaeton Hood
So you guys don't listen to reggaeton no more?

Lokixximo
We hustlas, we don't listen but we respect their hustle, Daddy Yankee, Tego,
Wisin Y Yandel, this artists hustle to get where they at, we got big respect for them

Reggaeton Hood
Do you guys have any Beef with any other artist?

Lokixximo
Well, basically people hate when you are doing your thing,
that's how we know that we making good music when it hurt's the competition feelings,
everybody got their own style and flow so keep doing ya'll thing,
we won't get involve in battles unless we feel there's competition
until now we haven't found it, it's a waste of time

Reggaeton Hood
I know ya worked with alot of producers, but what
producers do you want to work with that ya haven't yet?

Lokixximo
Is always a great experience to work with our super producer Add On but in the future we looking forward in working with Eli "El Demente", Visitante Calle 13, Scott Storch,
Timbaland, Swizz Beatz and Mannie Fresh, hot upcoming producers
Manny Loco & Ben G

Reggaeton Hood
Now, how is the business going with Lokixximo?

Lokixximo
Lokixximo is the next movement in Reggaeton,
all we have is hot club bangers out,
we about to put out "Los Locos Tambien Comen"
even though it will probably be independent ,
we have resources to make it major
after we sell our first hundred thousand copies
they'll see how much we worth

Reggaeton Hood
Will there be solo albums from you two?

Lokixximo
Nope

Reggaeton Hood
So, what cameos do ya have on the album?

Lokixximo
Well we pretty much kept this first album self contained.
We basically got the new Lokixximo Insane Asylum crew
which contains our new artists but we are keeping this a surprise.

Reggaeton Hood
There's a rumor in the streets where it basically saids that Reggaeton is dead,
what's ya'll opinion on this rumor.

Lokixximo
Change your radio station ...

Reggaeton Hood
If you could change anything about Reggaeton what
would it be?

Lokixximo
I dont think i would change anything, because it's
interesting to see where is going. I know now we have a big future
and I think it would be interesting to see where it goes.

Reggaeton Hood
If you could name any top three classic albums,
that you still listen to today, which would that be?

Lokixximo
"Capital Punishment," "Reasonable Doubt," and "Me against the World."

Reggaeton Hood
Lokixximo are definately one of the next New York stars to look for, i can't wait to hear ya'll album,
the songs i heard from ya'll are crazy in myspace, i can't imagine how's the album is going to sound, much success in your career and thanks for the interview.
