Mar 27, 2007 -- /prbuzz/ -- ME PRODUCTIONS, an award-winning event production and destination management company, is very pleased to announce that HEATHER WILSON, CSEP, Executive Sales and Event Manager based in Central Florida, Orlando, has been nominated as a RISING STAR for the 2007 SPOTLIGHT AWARDS of EVENT SOLUTIONS MAGAZINE. The Spotlight Awards recognize the top industry leaders and companies of the event industry in more than 16 categories. Finalists are selected from a pool of nominees based on an analysis of the events produced by the selected finalists.
“Heather joined ME Productions’ Orlando sales team in 2005 and has since made a great contribution to the success of our efforts,” said ME President Jim Etkin. “I am delighted that Heather has been publicly recognized for her achievements. In my book, she’s already a winner.”

Prior to joining ME, Heather worked in the event industry as a sales manager and also as a merchandising coordinator for Parents Family Network, where she organized, planned and executed nationwide special events. Heather serves on the ISES board at the Orlando chapter as Vice President of Membership. She was born in Stuart, Florida, and received her BS degree in Public Relations from the University of Florida.
The FINAL winners for the Spotlight Awards are chosen by their peers, utilizing an online voting system. All voting is conducted online at www.event-solutions.com/spotlight_awards, where finalist bios and highlights of their work are featured in order to give the voter a complete look at each candidate. The voting takes place between Friday, June 1, 2007 and closes at midnight, on Monday, July 23, 2007. The winners will be announced at the Event Solutions Spotlight Awards Gala on Thursday, August 23, being held in Miami, Florida.
