Green Bay, Wisc., Jan. 15 -- After hosting 450 men at it's first conference in 2006 Esto Vir anticipates 800 in attendance at the Second Annual Esto Vir Men's Conference on March 24th. St. Pius X Parish in Appleton will be the conference site. Esto Vir announces the Second Annual Esto Vir Men’s Conference.

Esto Vir, in conjunction with Relevant Radio®, today announced the Second Annual Esto Vir Men’s Conference to be held in Appleton, Wisconsin on March 24, 2007.

Green Bay, Wisc., Jan. 15 -- After hosting 450 men at it’s first conference in 2006 Esto Vir anticipates 800 in attendance at the Second Annual Esto Vir Men’s Conference on March 24th. St. Pius X Parish in Appleton will be the conference site. Relevant Radio personality Drew Mariani will emcee the conference. Featured speakers include Dr Ray Guarendi, Father Thomas Loya, and Father Francis Hoffman. A closing Mass will be celebrated by the Most Reverend David Zubik, Bishop of the Diocese of Green Bay.

Dr Ray Guarendi, father of 10 children, a clinical psychologist, author, and radio host has been a regular guest on national radio and television. Appearances include Oprah, Joan Rivers, Scott Ross Prime Time, 700 Club, Gordon Elliot, and CBS This Morning. He has appeared on regional radio and television in over 40 states and Canada and currently hosts “On Call with Dr. Ray & Friends,” heard weekdays on Relevant Radio®. Dr Ray will give two conference talks: “Why be Catholic” and “Catholic Men Aren’t Wimps.”

Father Thomas J. Loya is currently pastor of Annunciation of the Mother of God Byzantine Catholic Parish in Homer Glen, Illinois. Ordained in 1982 Father Loya also holds a Masters in Counseling and Human Services. He is the host of “Light of the East” radio program and speaks about Theology of the Body each week as a regular guest on the Relevant Radio Morning Air® program. Fr. Loya was first exposed to Pope John Paul II’s monumental teaching on the human person when he attended his weekly audiences in Rome. “Exploring the Mystical Foundation That Provides the “Why” and “How” Behind Being a Man is the topic of Father Loya’s talk.”

Father Francis Hoffman was ordained a priest of Opus Dei in 1992 by Pope John Paul II. He holds a doctorate in Canon Law from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross (Rome), a B.A. from Northwestern University in History and an M.B.A. from Notre Dame. Since 1998 Fr. Hoffman has been chaplain of Northridge Preparatory School in Niles, Illinois. He is also a regular guest on the Relevant Radio Morning Air program.

Drew Mariani, the conference emcee, is the host of The Drew Mariani Show™ on Relevant Radio, a daily three-hour afternoon drive time radio program reaching millions across the country with the power of the spoken word.

Saint Pius X Parish in Appleton is led by Pastor Father Thomas Farrell. St. Pius is located at 500 West Marquette Street in Appleton. The conference will open for same-day registrations at 7:30 AM, Saturday March 24th. More information on the conference can be found at www.esto-vir.org.
