FORT LAUDERDALE, FL -- April 23, 2009 -- The Soffer Collective, a Fort Lauderdale Strategy + Branding + Design firm, in partnership with their New York agents ArtistsandCreatives and IVRepresents, announces "Peep Show New York."

“Peep Show” will be held at Japonais Restaurant-Lounge Union Square, 111 East 18th Street, NYC, on Monday, April 27. All proceeds go to The Memorial Foundation for the Memorial Breast Cancer Center and their push for early detection.

“We have had two very young women who are close friends of the company, suffer from breast cancer,” says Soffer Collective President Patty Soffer. “While illness is not good at any age, these ladies are way too young to have to wage this battle.”

The Soffer Collective has never let a year pass without doing something pro bono. “Giving back is part of The Soffer Collective’s DNA, “ says Soffer. “The annual Poster Show has become our trademark vehicle for doing so.”

“We are particularly excited this year,” Soffer adds, “when things are so tight for charities AND artists. The artist outpouring has been overwhelming. And everyone has stepped up to the plate to make this a 100% donation show, meaning there are zero costs so every last penny goes to The Memorial Foundation.”

“We thank our New York agent, Artists and Creatives and IVRepresents,” she adds,” and all sponsors including CPumpianPR, Modernage, Three Olives Vodka/The Avid Group, Chilly-O, Rex Three and Japonais. It is absolutely amazing to see this kind of commitment in such a difficult year.”

The show features artists, photographers and designers from across the globe. Special works by Poster Show creator and artist Manny Prieres, Whitney Biennial Artist Bert Rodriguez, and Thomas Hodges, International Photographic Artist and the creator of the Imaginism Movement, will be auctioned, along with silent auctions of other some interesting items.

Soffer says ‘Peep Show’ accomplishes many goals: The artists are able to create, when many are out of jobs; the Memorial Foundation will get a great donation; and everyone will have a fantastic night complete with gallery-quality work, socializing and the satisfaction that they have all done something to help others.

“We absolutely urge everyone to come out and support us,” says Soffer. “Breast Cancer is hitting too many women, and young women in their 20s are an emerging statistic. This cannot be allowed to continue.”
