San Juan Island, Washington, December 21, 2009 A new Internet web page from the holistic Earth wisdom online degree program at Project NatureConnect and Akamai University in Hawaii presents an unusual fact along with testimonials to substantiate it: during the winter solstice period, a form of living Earth intelligence attracts the sun to return southward from its travel to the north.
The Sun's apparent direction change results from the attraction of Earth to wobble at an angle that creates an optimum for life in balanced, non-polluting diversity. This occurs while solar system and universe attractions energize our Planet to travel its orbit around the sun.
Dr. Michael J. Cohen, the program director and author of "Educating, Counseling and Healing With Nature" admits that introducing a scientifically correct natural attraction component into our thinking often results in alternative facts that we find odd or bizarre. "However," Cohen says "It is our thinking's negligent omission of the attraction essence of nature that creates the seemingly unsolvable personal, social and environmental disorders that challenge us. Nature and nature-centered peoples seldom display or cause them. To our loss, our blunder disconnects our psyche from the Earth wisdom that we need to live in peace and unity with each other and our living planet."
Cohen claims that natural attraction also influences human economics and spirituality. Many religions are attracted to center around celebrations and prayers during the weeks of the winter equinox. He says "Over 30 percent of our economy depends upon this spiritual phenomenon. Some evidence even suggests that Jesus was actually born in June but the date was moved to coincide with the winter solstice to attract nature-centered peoples."
To help correct the great disorders caused by the omission of nature's attraction intelligence in our thinking, Cohen directs an Applied Ecopsychology Institute at Akamai University. Its online degree program researches and teaches the organic sensory science of Natural Attraction Ecology. This helps increase well-being and equality for all of life including humanity.
