Breda, the Netherlands - - 03/06/07 - - OrangeTree Project Solutions, based in the Dutch city of Breda, has developed an efficient method of converting information in e-mailed forms from programs such as Outlook to an easily manageable Excel-file: QuickMailForm2Excel (QMF2E). This completely eliminates the need to manually copy and paste data from one file to another. The time this saves can help companies significantly improve efficiency, whilst cutting down on the number of necessary man-hours. An ideal program, in other words, for small and medium sized businesses that allow customers to order, lease or reserve products and services via their website.

The ‘translator’ which copies the data is to the Excel-file can be configured entirely in line with user specifications. Fields can be created with either capital or lower case lettering, while text can also be converted into numerical codes, such as yes=1 and no=0. The transport of data is fully automated. Inaccuracies caused by reading and or typing errors are thus excluded. QMF2E’s real strength lies in its user friendliness. Topspace, a company with various offices in the Netherlands specialising in the leasing of ski boxes, was one of the first QMF2E users, and is extremely pleased with the results of this automation. That took as much as 10 minutes for each application. We can now complete the same task in no more than two minutes.
