Ellen McNeill and her husband Michael co-founded the company because “We realized that we were learning about conservation in our 50’s. With the importance of conservation and personal accountability growing more important by the day, we thought that even little ones could learn about energy and conservation. Babies and toddlers are just sponges for information so why not teach them the value of conservation early in life?”

MyConservationBaby.com provides innovative, fashionable and practical baby gifts. They have seven styles of onesies to choose from. You can select green camo for baby boys or adorable pink camo for baby girls. There’s even a vintage-inspired tie-dyed onesie with a matching silk screened knotted cap.

The company does its best to “walk the talk.” They offer both organic and non-organic cotton onesies and toddler tees. They also gift wrap purchases for a nominal fee and 100% of the gift wrap components they use are recyclable. Gift certificates are sold through a paperless system to save trees.

To balance the materials used in the production of their non-organic products the company has pledged to donate 1% of gross annual sales to environmental organizations through membership in 1% for the Planet. 1%FTP is an alliance of more than 550 businesses which have committed a percentage of sales to non-profit environmental organizations.
