Ebonystock.com is a royalty-free image bank that was conceived with the notion that there aren't enough available channels for the distribution and availability of images showcasing people of color. Featuring categories such as Soul Food and Exotic, Ebonystock.com seeks to reach out to the non-traditional stock photography user as well as the conservative design firms and users with its family orientated categories.

Ebonystock.com is a user driven community, in which photographers sign up for free and upload their content for sale. All of our images are low-priced keeping in line with affordability and quality. Ebonystock.com is assisting in closing the digital divide between the Black user and the general populous by focusing on content featuring the Black Culture. Ebonystock.com is also a vehicle for photographers and artists to earn revenue through the sale of their images.

Co-Founders of Ebonystock.com, Web Developer Tavonia Evans & Okolo Schwinn-Clanton, brought together their combined skills of Web Development, Design, Administration, and Photography to create a central location for finding ethnic images.

"We saw a need and we sought out to fill the void in Urban, Ethnic, and images of Black people.", says Tavonia Evans.

Ebonystock.com targets design firms, advertising agencies, desktop publishers, idea-makers, business development firms, and freelancers.
