DIRECTOR LAMBERT’S “THE ATTIC” HITS SHELVES JANUARY 15th
December 17, 2007
"The Attic", the psychological thriller directed by Mary Lambert (Pet Sematary I & II) will hit video stores on January 15th, 2008. The psychological thriller has a top notch cast, including Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men), Jason Lewis (Brothers and Sisters), John Savage (The Deer Hunter, Hair), Catherine Mary Stewart (Weekend at Bernies), Tom Malloy (The Alphabet Killer, Love N’ Dancing), and Thomas J Ryan (Henry Fool, Fay Grim).

Script, originally developed by Malloy, was given to Mary Lambert, a legend in the horror genre, and shot in Madison, NJ on a supposedly “haunted” location.

Producers include Aimee Schoof and Isen Robbins of Intrinsic Value Films, Malloy, and Russ Terlecki of Wideye Films, the same team that recently completed Rob Schmidt’s The Alphabet Killer (www.alphabetkiller.com), currently in post-production.

The film was funded fully through private equity. Eric Bauman, of Ebaumsworld.com, known also as "the father of viral video", is one of the partners, and will play a role in the marketing of the film.

Allumination Filmworks and Slamdance on the Road signed on as the domestic distribution team after seeing an earlier cut of the film and finding it eerie, loaded with scares, and topped with great performances.
