CONGRESSIONAL HOPEFUL PAUL SWIDERSKI SIGNS THE TAXPAYER PROTECTION PLEDGE

Dec 05, 2007 -- /prbuzz/ --Paul Swiderski, candidate for U.S. Representative (PA-10) signed the taxpayer Protection Pledge promising to "oppose any and all efforts to increase the marginal income tax rates" and "oppose any net reduction or elimination of deductions and credits."

Paul added that "we need to stop penalizing taxpayers for the legislators’ misuse of tax dollars. Our federal lawmakers should learn how to be more responsible with our money rather than creating an additional burden on taxpayers. Increasing taxes only gives the democrats the ability to write more blank checks."

Paul Swiderski, a self-employed accountant and small business consultant, is among four declared candidates seeking GOP nomination in April 22's primary. Other candidates vying for the chance to oust first time incumbent Chris Carney include Dan Meuser, the president and co-owner of Pride Mobility Products in Exeter; Donald J. Ely, a retired high school teacher from Sunbury; and Chris Hackett, owner of OneSource Staffing Solutions.
