Simi Valley, CA - Apr 04, 2007 -- /prbuzz/ -- Margie Ramey of Ramey Virtual Assistance has finally found her ‘niche’ with Star Quality Virtual Celebrity Personal Assistance.

After twenty-five years working for a major telecommunications company, budget cuts finally caught up with my department last year. I took stock of all my skills, began researching home-based businesses and decided the time was right to start my own Virtual Assistance (VA) Company. So I formed Ramey Virtual Assistance, but others in the industry advised me to find a ‘niche’. While many VA’s tailor their services to meet the needs of the Real Estate Industry, Medical Profession or publishing field, I knew immediately where I wanted to market my services.

I’ve lived in Southern California most of my life and on any given day you can’t drive down the street without seeing a celebrity. They shop in the same malls and eat at the same restaurants, and in this town, someone always knows someone who knows a celebrity. That’s when it hit me and I came up with ‘Star Quality Virtual Celebrity Personal Assistance’. I just took virtual assistance and celebrity assistance to a different level and combined the two hoping to fill a need in the entertainment industry. I’m not trying to replace the hard-working Celebrity Personal Assistants (CPA) that work eighteen-hour days and are on call twenty-four hours. In fact, I am hoping the CPA’s will see the benefits of my service for them as well.

With the help of the Internet and communications technology, Star Quality can make life easier for the busy celebrity or entertainment executive. I specialize in providing remote administrative support services, from the most fundamental phone, mail and fax service to word processing and transcription projects, to undertaking specialized tasks such as Internet research and services; concierge service; travel arrangements; event coordination; personal shopper; and personnel services to name a few.

There is no need to hire another full-time employee, train a temporary employee or pay benefits; taxes and insurance, so clients get more for their money and extra time to do the things they want to do. Another advantage of using a Virtual Assistant in the entertainment industry is the non-threatening working relationship. In a business that can be very menacing at times, you never even have to meet your Virtual Assistant unless you want to. In addition, either person can travel anywhere in the world and still be in touch with each other when necessary.

With over thirty years experience in the corporate world, and a commitment to continuing education, I have the necessary experience and tools to assure all projects are handled in a professional and confidential manner. "It’s the perfect solution, virtually."
