Nov 05, 2007 -- /prbuzz/ --Canadian author Martha Jette and Manohar Bahtia of Bombay, India announce the release of a new book called "The Man With The Magic Spectacles" through Saga Books of Calgary, Alberta.

“It has been an honor to be able to collaborate with Mr. Bahtia, who has a wonderful imagination,” said Ms. Jette from her Hamilton, Ontario home. “It was also a huge challenge for me as a journalist to jump into fiction writing for a change.”

“The Man With The Magic Spectacles” is an adventure/spy novel that tells the tale of James Ivory, a young nuclear scientist who finds himself thrown into the dangerous world of international espionage when he creates a special pair of glasses. At the request of the United States president, James must track down and stop the notorious John Carlos, a madman with massive nuclear capabilities, who is intent on taking over the world.

Little does James know that his new adventure will be both the worst - and the best - time of his life.

This book is the fifth for Ms. Jette, who has already published a children’s book called “Talking To My Angel,” two paranormal books – “Glimpses – True Stories of the Paranormal” and “Glimpses 2 – (it could happen to you!),” and “Playing With The Devil,” a novel based on a true story of child abuse.

“The Man With The Magic Spectacles” is now available through Saga Books (http://www.sagabooks.net) and Amazon (http://www.amazon.com).
