NEW YORK, NY -- AUGUST 20, 2007 -- Can a Canadian Scotsman apply logic, transcendentalism and magic to solve life’s mysteries?

In "The Adventures of Fletcher MacDonald," a collection of fourteen short stories by Vaud E. Massarsky, Fletcher MacDonald, visits iconic and exotic places worldwide on a quest to solve vexing puzzles. Told through the eyes of Fletcher’s best friend and colleague, Max Bateman, Fletcher, employs his unique blend of encyclopedic knowledge, intuition, and appreciation of laws and forces yet to be fully understood to discover answers and, not infrequently, to raise new questions.

"The Adventures of Fletcher MacDonald" is a riveting collection of stories that are briskly paced and action packed. The dynamics of discovery and friendship between Fletcher, Fiona and Max make these adventures something to ponder long after they are read.

The Book Bin is located at 725 Arnold Avenue, Point Pleasant, New Jersey. For directions and store information, visit www.bookbinnj.com or call 732-892-3456.
