ALBUQUERQUE, NM -- Jan 21, 2009 -- /prbuzz/ -- CSI Aviation Services, Inc. (CSI) is celebrating 30 years in business capturing the essence of the company’s longstanding position as a diversified and reliable aviation services company.
CSI was established in 1979 to provide air charter for athletic teams and has grown to offer passenger and cargo air charter for the government, corporations and organizations worldwide. It has also expanded into aircraft leasing and comprehensive aircraft management.
CSI’s current experience gives them a distinct advantage in handling complex requirements and the unique capability to conduct immediate operations.
“Looking back over the past thirty years, it becomes obvious that our success has been a direct result of our constant efforts to provide the highest level of customer service,” said CSI Vice President of Business Development, Gretchen Collins. “As we look forward to the next 30 years, that will continue to be our goal.”
In 1983 CSI began offering Military Services to provide airlines with experienced representation to the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) to support the military airlift market.
In 1990 CSI became an integral part of the federal government air transportation system with their first major federal contract.
In 2004 CSI was awarded a GSA schedule for both Air Charter and Aircraft Leasing
In 2008 CSI created an Aircraft Planning Department to meet the unique demands of the changing aviation community.
