Oct 03, 2007 -- /prbuzz/ --Tuscaloosa, Alabama 09/22/07 - The Bronzes Of The Brave™ Memorial Statue Project presented its latest memorial bronze statue to the family of American Hero Sgt Marquees A. Quick of Birmingham, AL in a brief ceremony preceding the University of Alabama versus the University Of Georgia football game in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Sgt. Quick was a ’96 graduate of Birmingham’s Huffman High School where he ran cross country and was in the ROTC program. He was killed in Ramadi, Iraq when the enemy attacked his unit with RPG fire (rocket propelled grenades.)
Bronzes of the Brave is a TN nonprofit corporation providing permanent Bronze memorials for public display in honor of our American Fallen Heroes.
