Whidbey Island, Washington State – November 10, 2009 – Author, Marilyn Randall, Owner of Personal Touch II Designs, has just released her newest book on her web site www.marilynrandall.com titled MY HEART AND SOUL. The book is being hailed as an emotionally powerful book filled with writings about her alcoholism recovery, surviving sexual abuse as a child, loosing a spouse to cancer, racial prejudice, finding a personal romantic relationship at a senior age, being in a first time interracial relationship and prayers for surviving life’s events.
In her own words, Ms. Randall says: “This book is an achievement I am most proud to share with my followers. Although my experiences are not more unusual than what others go through, I am able to share them through my writing, for which I am extremely grateful. The title, MY HEART AND SOUL is appropriate, as I have poured myself and my deepest emotions into the writing of this book. I have been writing for many years and have chosen to share the pieces in this first book for their powerful content, in the hopes that someone might relate to the ordeals that I have overcome in this life and find inspiration that I have survived, yet continue to appreciate my life and what I have been blessed with and be able to do the same with theirs.”Ms. Randall was a graphic production director in the printing industry, retiring from that career in 1993 and opening her own business, Personal Touch II Designs. All of her children's books are spiritual in nature as she clarifies; “not religious, but spiritual and moral stories which children and adults find appealing”. Being widowed at a young age, after loosing her spouse to cancer, and now residing on Whidbey island in Washington State, she enjoys her quiet, serene surroundings in the beautiful, Pacific Northwest, waterfront community where she lives and where she writes her poetry, stories, prose and prayers.
