Nov 08, 2007 -- /prbuzz/ --BestInvest Photography & Design has opened up a new location at 540 Permalume Lane; Atlanta, GA 30318; right off of the Howell Mill exit from 75. BestInvest Photography & Design is a photography studio that specializes in digital design. We offer packages for musicians, weddings, portraits and we have a commercial photography division as well.

BestInvest Photography & Design is run by Andrea Best a New Jersey native whom wanted to move to Atlanta to try to make a better life for herself and her 6 year old son, Dominic. Andrea is an Alumnus of The Art Institute of Atlanta. Her family is originally from Guyana, South America but was born in Brooklyn, NY. Andrea was raised in New Jersey and eventually decided that she wanted to experience something new, so she decided to pack her bags, leave everything she knew behind and move to Atlanta, GA; where she’s resided for 3 years.

Although the company has just started out, Andrea is already making plans for growth and wants to be an employer of other young single mothers trying to make a better life for their family as well. She eventually plans on creating a non-profit organization called BestInvest in Futures, which will be an organization that helps young single mothers receive the training that they need in order to not only make ends meet, but to also find a fulfilling career that can not only better themselves but their communities. “Most of the programs that Georgia has to offer to young single mothers are programs that I like to refer to as quick fixes, I want to be able to put people in a position that will also encourage them to look into themselves to find their own talent so that eventually they’ll be able to start their own businesses”, Andrea says, “I recall going for an interview one time and I actually didn’t get the job because the employer said that I was too ambitious and he didn’t want to hire anyone that wanted to move further up in that position that was available. No offense to the minimal wage jobs out there but, I want people to realize that they don’t have to settle for that. They have to know that they’re better than that.”

BestInvest in Futures plans on offering training such as basic PC and Mac courses, as well as graphic design courses where program participants will be able to learn the fundamentals of Photoshop and Illustrator. The program will help place participants in jobs. For participants who are ready to take that jump into incorporating there businesses, there will be a course on that. The course will go over copyrighting, trademarks, taxes, variations of companies, start up cost, loan sources, government grants and so forth. The whole goal of the program is to create successful entrepreneurs.
