Jan 03, 2008 -- /prbuzz/ --Unique Baby Gear, Nursery Themes and Decorating Ideas have chosen prize winners in the first “Baby Nursery Decor Photography Contest" which required entrants to submit photographs and accompanying essays detailing the particulars of the baby’s nurseries featured in their submitted pictures. All photos and entries to the contest which ended at midnight on December 31st can be seen on the official contest page.
Photographers had until the midnight on December 31st to submit their photos and essays and were allowed to unlimited entries so long as each was their personal property with no existing copyrights. Overall participation in this new contest exceeded the webmaster’s expectations. The results were many interesting photographs with helpful instructional essays that will be useful to new parents in the process of designing their baby’s nursery.
Three winners were picked from the numerous entries into www.Unique-Baby-Gear-Idea’s “Baby Nursery Theme and Decor Picture” competition. The winners will all be awarded gift certificates from Amazon.com. Visitor’s comments left on each entrant’s entry page factored into the outcome as well as the originality and presentation of each room’s design.
Grand prize was awarded to Crystal Yexley’s Contemporary Orange, Beige and Black Unisex Color Scheme. She was awarded first place with the help of many votes from the site’s visitors on her unique nursery that featured gradient earth tones and glossy black nursery accessories.
Mrs. Albanese won second place with her cotton candy pink and spring green nursery pictures. The cheerful room was a favorites with many as was her choice of nursery accessories.
Children’s books are winners and works beautifully in nursery decor. Shannon Lambert, the artist that entered the unique Dr. Seuss mural won third place with her Dr. Seuss mural featuring characters from the pages of the storybooks. The lucky baby who inhabits this room will be well acquainted with all of the fanciful creatures found in Dr. Seuss books.
