Detroit Publishing Company Introduces New Book, Circumstances
Local Author, Tonya Shirelle Takes on the Consequences of Making Bad Choices in her First Novel

DETROIT, Mich.- Apr 06, 2007 -- /prbuzz/ -- New Detroit-based publishing company, Infinite Xpression Publishing has annouced the release of a new novel Circumstances, by Detroit author/playwright, Tonya Shirelle. The work is the first literary offering from the company and the talented author.

Circumstances was released nationally on March 2, kicking off with a series of launch/signing events locally, and in cities across the country.

Circumstances tells the story of an aspiring young woman from Detroit as she prepares to enter college at Michigan State and how one wrong decision caused a downward spiral, affecting her entire life and her freedom.
From over achieving college student, to convicted felon, Khiala, the main character, has to deal with a lot more than she bargained for as she narrowly escapes death, trying to regain her life with the odds stacked up against her.

This first offering from Shirelle is one of many books she has ready to present to the public, “I am really excited to get this book out there. I have done so much writing and have wanted to realize this dream for so long, it is a little overwhelming.” Shirelle is a divorced mother of three who has penned several articles in the past, before stepping up to publish this work.

An assertive advocate of female empowerment and the entrepreneurial spirit, she has also written columns and speaks to young woman about making right choices in their lives. “Her “can do” attitude is infectious,” said Shannon Wilson, Infinite Xpression Publishing partner. “Circumstances is one of those “crawl up under a blanket” books that is hard to put down once you pick it up.”

“Circumstances is a long-awaited project and goal I have had in life,” said Shirelle. “I am so blessed to be able to release my book first in the metro Detroit area.”

Even before the ink is dry on Circumstances, Shirelle is already putting the final touches on her second novel, Butterflies, which will also be produced as a stage play later this year.
