San Diego, CA Mar 28, 2007 -- /prbuzz/ -- Anthony Massey sorts through the tragedies of his childhood in his fictional, journalistic novel, "Siblings" (ISBN 978-0-6151-4361-3, DEJA Joy Publishing, 2007 . A native Texan currently residing in San Diego’s North County, author Anthony Massey never pictured his life could be the subject matter for a book. He isn’t famous and has no intention of running for office. Anthony’s childhood, though mild by many standards, was saturated with unspoken abuse and drug addiction. As with many people, he didn’t really deal with the issues of his life until tragedy struck. After an attempt at his own life and the advice of a psychiatrist, he began journaling the painful memories that caused his depression. The moving and capturing novel Siblings was the evolution of his therapeutic writings. Anthony poured his life into a fictional character named, Marcus Nelson. Infused with creative license, Siblings follows a brother and sister, six years apart as they deal with the emotional and physical death of an abusive father. Siblings is an emotional reminder that we are products of our past and our future is determined by our faith and family.
