Following Sarah’s recently very successful exhibition at her home in France.Artist and Children’s book illustrator Sarah Wimperis is pleased to announce the launch of her new web site, www.sarahwimperis.co.uk

Over the past year, Sarah Wimperis has continued to develop her illustration and painting. Her work sells internationally through galleries and increasingly on the internet.

During this last year, Sarah completed an experiment, painting a new work every day for 220 days.This experiment was exploring the painting a day movement. Sarah found that very few artists ever manage this remarkable feat. Many claim to, but few achieve it. There appeared to be far too much confusion as artists jumped onto the bandwagon. It is all about how you interpret painting a day. Most real artists will paint every day, few will produce a new painting per day. However the painting a day movement does appear to have increased the confidence of the buying public. Buying directly from the artist, the public has the opportunity to communicate with the artist enabling them to have a better understanding of the work and to have access to affordable art.
