CANADIAN ARTIST UNVEILS RE-BRANDED CORPORATE IDENTITIES IN THE WAKE OF AN AMERICAN CLIMATE CHANGE STATEMENT
What: Toronto artist Brian Rushton Phillips has made public a series of 19 graphic prints illustrating a short list of the world's largest polluters. The project is a response to the passive and idealistic, July 17th, 2007, Climate Change Statement from the Business Roundtable™.
Entitled 'Global Barbecue', the series suggests a disastrous outcome should immediate action not be taken.
ONE HUNDRED PER CENT OF THE PROFITS FROM EACH GLOBAL BARBECUE PRINT IS DONATED TO GREENPEACE, THE WORLD WILDLIFE FUND AND THE DAVID SUZUKI FOUNDATION, TO AID IN THEIR EFFORTS TO PROVIDE SOCIAL AWARENESS AND FURTHER ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY.
