Manila, Philippines - - Apr 17, 2007 -- /prbuzz/ -- American English Skills Development Center has been accredited as a TOEFL Testing Facility. Aside from being an accredited TESDA (Training Enhancement and Skills Development Authority) training center, American English now works with TOEFL review centers and individuals who wish to take TOEFL examinations in the city.

Mylene Morillo, American English President and CEO, announced the news in the Makati office on April 12, answering the need to facilitate overseas work applicants.

American English was established primarily to address the need to improve English communication skills of the majority of Filipinos and to promote a 'Think in English' mindset. The company is barely a year old but has been accredited by two major human resource institutions - TESDA and TOEFL.
Classes are facilitated by a native English-speaking American and a Fil-Am and is trimmed to a maximum of 15 students per class in order to ensure heavy interaction and effective exchanges between instructors and students.
