American Brokers Conduit Announces New Vice President
Regional Operations Manager Sharon Ing to Provide Consistent Broker Experience
MELVILLE, N.Y. – (July 9, 2007) American Brokers Conduit (ABC), the wholesale division of American Home Mortgage Investment Corp. (NYSE: AHM), a publicly held mortgage Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), is pleased to announce the recent addition of Sharon Ing as the Company’s Vice President, Southeast Regional Operations Manager. Ms. Ing joins ABC with 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry, including expertise in managing corporate operations, and developing and conducting FHA, VA and Conventional training programs.
Prior to joining ABC, Ms. Ing served as the Executive Vice President of Aurora Loan Services where her responsibilities included restructuring loan processing procedures, reducing the loan cycle from 27 days to 13 days and reducing the corporation’s cost per loan by 50 percent. She is also a 1995 graduate of the University of Richmond’s innovative Leadership Development Program.
In her new role, Ms. Ing will be driving corporate initiatives, implementing processes to improve workflow efficiencies and managing all other compliance and operational issues for ABC’s Southeast branch offices. Branches are located in Atlanta, Georgia; Chantilly, Virginia; Charlotte, North Carolina; Jacksonville, Florida; Maitland, Florida; and Sunrise, Florida.
According to Ms. Ing, her primary focus is creating consistency within the region. “I am fortunate to have a region that is already running smoothly,” commented Ing. “ABC is known for its commitment to superior customer service and providing the tools brokers need to succeed. As we roll out new initiatives, I will work closely with the branches to create a consistent broker experience, ensuring a positive impact to our customers’ business.”
