Award wining writers Santiago and Dunham recipients of the Best of 2006 Award from Soul Patrol.Com are undertaking a new project based on their popular book, Acappella Street Corner Vocal Groups. This new project is a documentary, the very first of its kind to feature pioneer acappella groups that sang during the 1960’s Golden Age of Acappella. The documentary will feature interviews from such groups as the Persuasions, Five Fashions, Heartaches, and more. The documentary will also feature groups from the 1950’s as a prelude to the acappella era. Wayne Stierle architect of the street corner sound will be the narrator of the film. At present, Santiago and Dunham are gathering film footage for the documentary. The documentary project should be completed and released by April 2008.
