Los Angeles, CA -- November 21, 2006 -- Release of WE ARE ONE (A World Anthem), involving 200 performers, launches a global movement to inspire unity, love and action to help families in need and the world’s environment.
Writer-producer Kevin Reid announced today that his song, "WE ARE ONE (A World Anthem)," which he hopes will "inspire unity, love and action throughout humanity," will debut today and be available for downloading at www.aworldanthem.org from nonprofit Light, Love & Power Global Enterprises, Inc.
Individuals can support the WE ARE ONE GLOBAL MOVEMENT and CARE, Doctors Without Borders, Action Against Hunger, American Forests and WaterPartners International at www.aworldanthem.org and receive a download of "WE ARE ONE (A World Anthem)" as a special gift. The first goal of the WE ARE ONE GLOBAL MOVEMENT is to raise $1,000,000 for each of these 5 organizations.
Produced over a period of 21 months with a production cost exceeding $50,000, "WE ARE ONE (A World Anthem)" boasts more than 200 participants. It features 29 singers, 32 musicians, 3 choirs, and 22 people from around the world performing in their native languages, which include Arabic, Mandarin, Hebrew and Spanish.
Reid is the owner of Musical Expressions, located in Naperville, IL, a Chicago suburb. Founded by Reid in 1989, the school has 29 teachers and 500 students.
Reid, also the founder of LLP Global Enterprises, states: "We are one global family. The world needs to embody this message as a matter of practical necessity. My life's purpose is to inspire unity and love between all my brothers and sisters."
