A Newly Designed Exercise Chair Increases Range of Motion for the Physically Challenged
Quitman, GA -- October 13, 2006 -- A newly designed exercise chair which increases range of motion for the physically challenged is being manufactured for the first time. Genesis Chairs is a specialized company that builds and sells only 2 kinds of chairs. One is a stationary chair and the other, a wheel chair, both equipped with a unique patented design of an inverted gliding arc. Results of all who have tried the chair have been extraordinary.
Dr. Susan Harding, a board certified internist, used the chair with some of her patients and states, “Used regularly, this chair helps with cardiovascular fitness and general overall improvement in muscle strength and balance. It also allows people who are debilitated from strokes or lengthy illnesses or operations to exercise safely under their own control. This chair is going to help many people go from being inactive to gradually regaining some of their mobility and strength to the point where they can function more normally, get around better and improve both their physical and psychological health.
The following is a testimonial of a young mother:
Latasha was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 3 years ago. She walks with a walker and has weakness in her legs. She was told by her neurologist to exercise her thigh and lower leg muscles. After trying the chair she stated, “This chair is more comfortable than other exercise equipment, and now I can exercise those muscles.” When Latasha was asked if she could do anything that she couldn’t do before using the chair, she said, “I was not able to hold my legs up for this amount of time. I know that if I’m able to do this in this short amount of time, just think what I could do if I exercised in it regularly.” When asked to describe the chair, she said one word, “Breakthrough”. Natasha has 3 beautiful little girls, ages 2, 4, and 6 and with the chair, she looks forward to walking again without the use of a walker.
This chair opens a world of possibilities for the physically challenged.
