FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
A New Literary Internet Radio Show Launches That Will Change the Standard Talk Show Formula
(Philadelphia, PA) December 5, 2007 — Nakea Murray, Proprietor of the Literary Consultant Group, a full service publishing consultation and publicity firm, joins forces with Essence Magazine Best-Selling author, Tu-Shonda Whitaker, and Tiffany L. Smith, Founder/President of Sisters in Spirit Literary Group, a non-profit literary organization, to host a new literary radio show that will rival the traditional talk show formula. 3 Chicks on Lit, is a hip, fun & sassy literary hour where listeners will find three chicks, three different opinions dealing with one book. The show will focus on real life topics and situations centered around the show’s theme.
“Our goal is to introduce the audience to three very different view points each show. My co-hosts and I, tend to think out of the box and we wanted to bring that spice to the literary and radio scene,” states show’s creator Nakea Murray. “We intend to have the authors of some of the most talked about books on our show to take an in depth look at situations and topics that affect us all,” she says.
“With an interesting twist,” co-host Smith adds.
“What’s really interesting about us is our backgrounds. We have a published author, literary publicist, and a book club founder. This will make for a very interesting dynamic during our discussions,” Whitaker explains.
The show will air Wednesdays, beginning December 5, 2007 at 7 p.m. EST on Blog Talk Radio (www.blogtalkradio.com/chicksonlit). While the trio refuse to release the name of their first guest, they warn listeners to buckle up for an interesting ride!
