(Dallas, TX, Nov. 23,2007) Her Desire is a story of two friends, Beth and Angie who travel to Europe. During their trip they meet several unique individuals, one being a man Beth falls madly in love with. This man has a deep dark secret, however, that he keeps from Beth until inevitably the truth is revealed.
Her Desire took 6 years for me to write simply because there was so much to write about. It is loosely based on a true story. Her Desire is both a comedy and a drama. I place it more on the comedy side since after all, isn't love funny? Her Desire is unique in several ways. The style of writing I used is simple and easy to read for those who don't particularly like to read too much as well as effective for the avid reader. I tend to lean towards plenty of conversation to bring the reader into the story. For me, I really like reading stories that contain a large amount of conversation in its content which is why I chose to do the same. Another way Her Desire is unique are the amount of supporting characters that add humor to the story. For example, Screwman who is a man that cannot walk in Her Desire is continuously followed by a detective who never seems to reveal why he is following him. Screwman ends up in an accident and can suddenly walk again after going through a near death experience. Her Desire contains many unique characters including being highly relatable to many women that go through a highly sexual and intense relationship.
